KathrynG13
Hi there. Just signing in on day 6. Things are going well on the outside - shopping, meal prep and good choices -fierce commitment. Was happiky surprised by how quickly my body adapted physically. But feel like crap emotionally - sugar has been my go to buffer - and now it's all up! Glad to connect and determined to do this. BeckyKay
I just wanted to remind you (if you read the book "it starts with food") that part of the elimination diet is to break emotional connections to food. It has been about 3 years since I started using whole 30 and have done mostly good but some bad over the 2 years - but have not gained my weight back - have plateaued and need to get really serious about doing another elimination 30 again - but definitely have done better because I use to be on antibiotics and inhalers for asthma & sinus's and found it was sensitivity to wheat and dairy and sugar. I also learned it was inflammation that was my problem which is driven by sugars and things that our bodies turn into inflammation. Have learned to use baked or roasted yams to replace some things that use to be "have to have's" also recent months - cauliflower rice. Anyway - just wanted to encourage you to keep at it - you will definitely feel better - don't give up!!!
