ToriNoel
I'm on my second round of the whole30. During my first go round I had no bloating and lost 3 lbs in first 5 days. However, I was cutting out grains, And dairy for the first time, which was a big part of my diet. After ,y first whole30 was done I kept up with no dairy because I realized my stomach couldn't handle it and I've been on and off with grains. I'm on day 6 of my second round and I'm SO bloated! I feel huge! Is this normal?! what could be the cause?? Or what could I be doing wrong?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted July 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 12, 2015 It's pretty normal to be bloated toward the end of week one, you may have Just lucked out the first time around. Do stay off the scale, though. It is actually one of the rules, and it's there for a reason. Weight loss is not linear, you may lose and gain several pounds over the course of a day or two.For bloating, common culprits are eating too many nuts and seeds, eating a bunch of raw vegetables, or eating a bunch of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, or brussel sprouts. Also be sure you're getting enough water, about a half ounce per pound of body weight, so if you weigh 120 lbs drink at least 60 oz.(also, I've moved this to the troubleshooting section of the forum)
ToriNoel
I eat nuts every day and have been having a lot of raw broccoli. Should I not? Yes I should be drinking more water. That is exactly my weight and I know I don't drink 60 oz

And definitely work on getting in the water every day.
