sarahmhouge
Relating to this- all the canned tomato I can find has 1 or 2g of sugar- is this naturally occurring sugar that I can have (it does not list sugar on the ingredients)? I had the same problem with tomato paste. Thanks!
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted July 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2015 If it does not list sugar on the ingredient list then it's naturally occurring sugar and it's okay for your Whole30. The list of ingredients rules on a Whole30 as many things have naturally occurring sugar and that's fine.

There is absolutely nothing on the nutritional label that can confirm, without a doubt, that the item is compliant. The ingredient label is all that matters. Beware of sneaky sugars.
