Day 6- craving hard core!

I've been going strong with very few cravings. I'm currently at my in-laws and powered through the meal without any giving in to the temptations and stuck to meat (no bun or sauce) veggies, and olives. But then she brings out homemade ice cream cake (my number 1 favorite) and I'm dying; I passed on it but now can't stop thinking about it! Help me stay strong!

Oh my, homemade ice cream cake would probably tempt even the most intensely lactose-intolerant people on the planet. Cravings are intense, but they CANNOT last forever. It just is not possible. As you drool, remind yourself that this craving will pass just like the feeling of stubbing your toe passes. It hurts like h*ll for a few seconds, maybe gives you a dull pain for a few more minutes (or hours in some particularly bad instances), but ultimately passes away. 

 

The end goal is SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than the ice cream cake. Trust me, you will be amped when you realize that you truly can say NO to those cravings. Go get 'em!

It tooks me a few extra days, but my cravings have SERIOUSLY if not almost totally diminished! Most people annihilate those things before day 30 even arrives, but you're in the thick of it right now so be patient with yourself and stay strong!!
