This is my second Whole30 Log...I started yesterday on July 20th with some friends who did my first Whole30 with me back in May. I've tried to start a couple times in the past since our 1st go round and have failed miserably. Trying it again...I got this.

 

D1 M1 - Shrimp, tomato and spinach salad with olives

D1 M2 - Turkey breast, whole30 mayo, lettuce, tomatoes

D1 M3 - Grilled chicken, frozen veggies, olives

 

Yesterday was tough because we decided to stay at the lake an extra day but I made due with what we had available. Today is a lot better...I feel more prepared and I'm excited to eat well and take care of myself again. Here's the plan:

 

D2 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, 1/2 sweet potato (hashed with grilled onions), pico de gallo, olive oil

D2 M2 - Tuna, whole30 mayo, frozen veggies and the rest of my sweet potato from this morning

D2 M3 - Grilled chicken, broccoli, olives

 

I feel good about this and know I can push through and carry on!

Day 3!! Super tired and agitated today. UGH. So, just chugging my black coffee. Definitely feeling the hangover.

 

Here is the plan for today:

 

D3 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, 1/2 sweet potato (hashed with grilled onions and olive oil), pico de gallo

D3 M2 - Grilled Chicken, whole30 mayo +hot sauce = hot mayo!, broccoli/cauliflower frozen veggies

D3 M3 - Grilled Chicken salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar - spinach, carrots, onions (this is tentative...I'm meeting my aunt out for dinner and depending on how they prep their food, I might make a change. Already looked at the menu - lots of gluten free/dairy free options).

It's already been a crazy Day 4! Woke up late, was not prepared but things still worked out! Here is the plan:

 

D4 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, spinach, pico de gallo, half an avocado

D4 M2 - BAS!!! I keep olive oil and balsamic in my work drawer for dressing :)

D4 M2 - Grilled Chicken, Broccoli/cauliflower, olives

 

My mom is coming into town tonight...hopefully, she'll just let me cook for her and not want to go out. But, we'll see!

Day 5 - prepping for the weekend and getting ready in case there are any emergencies. Won't be able to check until Sunday or Monday...Here is my plan (subject to change :)):

 

D5 M1 - 3 eggs, sugar free/compliant bacon (found it at Whole Foods!), spinach, 1/2 avocado

D5 M2 - 4 eggs, 1/3 sweet potato, spinach, 1/2 avocado

D5 M3 - Grilled Chicken, Frozen veggies, olives

 

D6 M1 - 3 eggs, Tomatoes/spinach, 1/2 avocado

D6 M2 - Steak Skewers, raw broccoli and carrots, olives

D6 M3 - Grilled Chicken, Frozen veggies, Olives

 

D7 M1 - 3 eggs, spinach, 1/2 avocado

D7 M2 - Ground hamburger mixed with grilled veggies and hot mayo (I know it sounds gross but it's good!)

D7 M3 - Grilled Chicken, Frozen veggies, Olives (this is our go to meal!)

Been MIA - my phone broke over the weekend but still going strong. Here are yesterday's meals:

 

D8 M1 - 4 eggs, 1/4 sweet potato, onions/pico, olive oil

D8 M2 - Roasted chicken breast salad with tomatoes, lettuce, onions and olives

D8 M3 - Shell-less tacos with pico, jalapenos, lettuce, and olives

 

Here is the plan for today:

 

D9 M1 - 3 eggs, 1/4 sweet potato, onions, olive oil

D9 M2 - BAS with Grilled Chicken, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, balsamic/olive oil dressing

D9 M3 - Grilled Pork Chops, new baby potatoes, Brussels

I've been super sick the last three days...puking my brains out. Literally, haven't been able to keep anything down...I would like to say that I've stayed compliant but the only thing I could keep down was a couple saltines here and there...so, Cheers to Day 1!

 

D1 M1 - 3 scrambled eggs, 2 bacon slices, 1/4 sweet potato, pico de gallo, olives

D1 M2 - pork chop, new potatoes, veggies

D1 M3 - Grilled Chicken, veggies, olive oil

D2 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, 2 bacon slices, 1/4 sweet potato, pico de gallo

D2 M2 - Grilled chicken, lettuce salad, tomatoes, onions, hot may dressing

D2 M3 - Grilled Chicken salad, sweet potatoes, balsamic/olive oil dressing

Ok - here we go again. On to my 2nd Whole30 - for real. I've been experiencing some issues recently which have really made me realize how important it is to eat healthy and take care of my body. I'm starting today and hopefully will continue this for a lifetime. I miss my NSV's from my first W30 and will get them back with this!

 

D1 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, 1/2 c. pico de gallo, 1/2 avocado, black coffee with a tiny bit of coconut milk

D1 M2 - Grilled Chicken, broccoli/carrot/cabbage shreds, W30 mayo with hot sauce

D1 M3 - Grilled Sirloin, Frozen Veggies - broccoli/carrots, 1/2 sweet potato mash with ghee

 

I need to keep reminding myself that this will help me to feel better....

On to day two - yesterday went well! but my meal three changed a little. Went with grille chicken, sweet potato and broccoli shreds instead of the steak. It just seemed a little easier after a stressful day at the office.

 

I feel good about this round of W30. I just have this confidence that I can actually finish and believe in myself this time (unlike the other times where I would get sick, or something would happen in the family, or there would be an excuse for me to give up and thrown in the towel.)

 

So, here is the plan for today:

 

D2 M1 - 4 scrambled eggs, 1 handful of chopped spinach, pico de gallo, 1/2 avocado

D2 M2 - Grilled Chicken, broccoli/carrot/cabbage shreds, W30 mayo w/hot sauce (leftovers from yesterday :))

D2 M3 - Ground beef "tacos" (no shell but all the other fixins') - lettuce, pico de gallo, a little W30 hot mayo, grilled brussel sprouts

Day 3 for me! Woke up feeling groggy and headachy this morning....it was super hard to get out of bed...but, I had my coffee and I'm starting to feel a little better but it's going to be a long day.

 

Here is the plan:

 

D3 M1 - 3 scrambled eggs, 1 Italian chicken sausage, 1 handful of chopped spinach, pico de gallo, 1/2 avocado, 6 green grapes

D3 M2 - Grilled Steak Sirloin salad with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes w/balsamic vinegar and olive oil

D3 M3 - Organic Pork Pot Roast (hubby made it this morning....yummy) in the crock pot, new potatoes, onions, carrots

 

The past two days, I've been keeping track of my water to get a good feel for what I usually have, in a normal day. I'm realizing that I do not drink enough and need to focus on getting that H2O in my BODY! Pushing for at least 85 ounces today....yesterday, I only hit 68. I got this!

Day 4 over here -- lots of temptations today at the office...many people bringing in treats and goodies plus it's bagel Friday...UGH.

 

Here is the plan today:

 

D4 M1 - 3 scrambled eggs, 1 Italian chicken sausage, 1 handful chopped spinach, pico de gallo, 1/2 avocado

D4 M2 - Shredded pork, W30 hot mayo, broccoli slaw

D4 M3 - Steak, Sweet potatoes, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts
