Took them out yesterday to thaw and was looking forward to having some turkey on another day other than Thanksgiving. I was reading the front to see what their cooking instructions were, and it said something about being in a "solution." Flipped the container over to check the ingredients. Turkey, of course, and...... BROWN SUGAR! So my kids get all the chops, and I get none....wah!!!! Glad I read it first. So make sure you read your labels, EVEN ON FRESH MEATS! Britishgal Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 I once shouted blue murder at a packet of burgers in my local Aldi because they had added sugar...luckily I only did it in my head and not out loud as I may have been banned for profanity and I do so rely on Aldi (though not their wheat, sulfite and sugar laden frozen meat products...)
