fmr_sailor
I want to make a shrimp stir fry with a bag of frozen peppers & onions, mushrooms, and pineapple chunks. My question is: how do I flavor it? I have coconut aminos, but how much? I have sesame oil (to flavor & finish only, I know), but how much? Should get some fish sauce? Help please. :-) Thanks! MeGA"gardener"
http://paleomg.com/30-minute-shrimp-asian-stir-fry/ http://www.food.com/recipe/paleo-easy-shrimp-stir-fry-506488 http://paleoleap.com/quick-and-easy-paleo-stir-fries/ Of course when you are W30 compliant you must swap out certain things
fmr_sailor
http://paleomg.com/30-minute-shrimp-asian-stir-fry/ Yes, I found this one, but I want to use some of the sesame oil too. How much....a tablespoon, two? And a cup of coconut aminos....isn't that kind of a lot? (I'm thinking of it in relation to soy sauce. A cup would be overwhelming!) Britishgal
A tablespoon of sesame oil is quite a bit...my ex (Chinese) would never use more than a sprinkle at the end...
MeGA"gardener"
Haaaa B..you're right yes I edited from teaspoon because a recipe called for a tablespoon too much a drizzle at the end is just right!

That's what I thought, but I found some recipe that called for one to two tablespoons, and I was like.....um, that's probably too much.

Cajun Gypsy
I have found a compliant thai curry paste, and for stir fry, I use Coconut Oil 2-4 or more Tbsp, depending on how much you are cooking Meat Onion Garlic Ginger Peppers Carrots Green Beans (you don't have to use all the types of veggies, just use enough of what you choose) 1 Tbsp Thai curry paste 1 tsp fish sauce 2 Tbsp coconut aminos then, I make coconut cilantro cauli rice to serve with it Also - I have pan fried cashews in coconut oil to top my stir fry since I can't have peanuts
