Alisonlcarver
I am re-reading "It Starts With Food" and came across the section on stress and over-exercising. I am wondering what constitutes over-exercising? I do one hour of cardio 4-5 times a week and strength train 2-3 times a week. I want to make sure this is ok, and that my exercise efforts are not actually sabotaging my healthy efforts in general.
Renee Lee
Hi Alison, unfortunately this is as far from a one size fits all answer as you can possibly get. The best answer I can give you is, "Maybe." Here's Whole9's article on the Health Equation. http://whole9life.com/2011/09/whole9-health-equation/ It's totally possible that you have a ton in your recovery tank to support your activity...but I know that 5 hours of cardio per week, plus lifting, would be way too much for me. Good luck!
