Remster2011
I was at Publix looking for apple cider to cook with, and I came accross Publix brand 100% nature pure apple cider. The ingredient listed was "Pasteurized Apple Cider". Any idea what is in this, and if it is ok? The recipe I am using only need a half cup so I think it should be ok? Moderators ShannonM816 Posted July 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2015 If that's the only ingredient, that's definitely okay. It just means they pasteurized the cider, which usually means heating it enough to kill any bacteria in it, although for other foods there may be other methods of pasteurization.
