ladyhoward 149
I cannot find sugar-free ketchup anywhere - anybody have any luck? I suppose I could make my own but not sure of a good recipe for that. I appreciate any guidance you all may have on this - I have a meatloaf recipe that my whole family likes and all I had to change was the flour (and the ketchup of course). Would love to still be able to make it while on the Whole30.
Susan W 3553
Here's a recipe from Paleo Diet Lifestyle. Ingredients 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste; 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice; 1/4 tsp dry mustard; 1/3 cup water; 1/4 tsp cinnamon; 1/4 tsp salt; 1 pinch ground cloves; 1 pinch ground allspice; 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, optional; Preparation Simply combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well to combine. Refrigerate overnight to let the flavors develop and enjoy! Delaine Ross, staceylc_w30, br5532 and 2 others
Adagio 323
There is one that is sweetened with fruit juice but it has other weird ingredients in it. Best to make your own. You can use a bit of unsweetened applesauce if you want it sweet.
Moderators Tom Denham 10042 Posted September 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted September 10, 2012 Back when I made meat loaf in my pre-paleo days, I added shredded carrots to the meat instead of bread crumbs and used salsa instead of ketchup. I just thought salsa was better than ketchup. Still do. Delaine Ross
Janine Costanzo 48
Here's a recipe from Paleo Diet Lifestyle. ... This recipe is the one I use for my ketchup. It tastes more spicy (as in, full of spices, not spicy hot) than ketchup, but it's quite tasty!

Yup, and the sucralose makes it non-complaint
True Primal 11
This one seems Whole30. In fact it has the Whole30 logo on the label: https://www.primalkitchen.com/products/organic-unsweetened-ketchup
Members Grace A 1
Primal Kitchen ketchup is indeed compliant. You always know you are safe if the Whole30 logo is on a product!

Pandora Black 178
Tessamae’s is my favorite compliant ketchup. It’s stupid expensive, but totally delicious. You can get it on Amazon.
