rmd
Hello, I am starting this tomorrow and have been shopping for 7 day meal plan. Some recipes call fro tomato paste and 28 oz diced tomatoes. When I look at cans of this stuff (organic and every can in Whole Foods) there's sugar in it. I assume this is not added. It is from the tomatoes, as sugar is not listed in the ingredients. Are these products acceptable?? If not, I don't remember seeing a recipe in the book for them.... Thanks!
jmcbn
The ingredient list is King on Whole30 - ignore the nutrition list and you won't get confused. If there is sugar of any kind (or any other non compliant item) on the ingredient list then this product is out. kirkor
Yes that's fine. Many food items have sugar as part of their molecular makeup --- what you're looking to avoid is *added* sugars, i.e. sugar and sugar-type things listed on the ingredients list. As long as none of this stuff is on the list, you're good to go.
