JayneKul
I tried searching and could not find anything. The other day while a guest I was served salmon with a sauce that contained maple syrup. That was the closest to compliant food in the meal (other than the vegetables that I had brought) so I rinsed off the sauce and ate the salmon. Did I cheat? MeadowLily
I think you've answered your own question. It probably saturated the salmon. The decision to start over is left completely in your hands. http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
JayneKul
Thanks for the answer. I will just keep going. I did the best I could under the circumstances. I have learned that, in a potluck situation, I need to bring both a protein and vegetables, even when I think that other people are bringing compliant foods. I cannot rely on anyone else. Truer words were never spoken, Jane. The secret's in the sauce so they say. Sweet and Sour soup used to be my favorite but I have no idea what all goes into it when you go outside of the home.
