making sure to clarify butter right

I have clarified my second batch of butter. It is salted butter. I keep getting a think chunk of white left that is not sitting on the top. I hope the picture is clear enough to get some help. it is to the left of the pot in the picture. 

Is this white chunk okay to eat, or should I take it out?
