Lololita
I was cooking noodles for my tots today. I always eat a noodle to test if they are done. I totally ate 2 with out even realizing it until I was about to test a third. Should I start over?
MeadowLily
Back in the pioneer days, it was an automatic restart. Now you must decide. http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
Lololita
Thank you! very helpful. I have too much of a headache to look thru my book. I waited too long to eat!
fmr_sailor
I have almost done this too many times. If it were me, I'd restart. But that's me.
KaraSW
I would not restart. You won't eat mindlessly like that again for the rest of your 30 days. It's a learning experience!
Britishgal
I'd restart. Wheat is a huge issue for a many people and without the full 30 days away from it before reintroducing it at the end you won't get proper results.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 14, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2015 I would probably restart too, especially if you came to Whole30 for any reason that has to do with food irritants (eg, sleep, mood, skin, stomach issues, headaches, energy etc). It may seem silly and like two tiny noodles are no issue....but in order to put it in perspective, look what happens when a dog eats chocolate or a raisin. I know we're not dogs but often we have a hard time believing that our bodies can be as sensitive as they are but we have no problem understanding that some things are poisonous to the furry friends we love so much. Let us know what you decide!
kruddock
I would extend it because gluten is one of the worst offenders, but it's ultimately up to you!
Hannlib
I'd restart too, gluten is a massive issue for me. And part of whole 30 for me is not mindlessly shoving my kids' food into my mouth - no tasting pasta, no finishing their cup of milk no clearing their plate no eating their leftovers no licking jam off the knife no popping fruit in my mouth while prepping it for them. It's a mindfulness thing and it's absolutely key for me as I'm with my kids pretty much 24/7 and they don't do whole 30. Good luck!
