Day 14 and still exhausted!

According to the book I should be about to hit the "Tiger Blood" phase but instead I still feel tired!  It kind of comes in waves throughout the day (I'll feel good and then like I could sleep for 12 hours).  Is this normal???? I haven't had any positive side effects yet except for feeling emotionally better for feeding myself healthy foods.

The timeline is just a general guideline, some people find they don't match up to it exactly, so it could be that you're just going to take a couple more days to get there. 

 

If you want to make sure you're on the right track, I'd encourage you to list a couple of days' worth of meals, including approximate portion sizes, water intake, exercise, and sleep, and we'll see if there's anything that stands out that you could change that might help you feel better.

 

 

In general, things that come up over and over on the forum for people that could contribute to this are not eating enough in general, not eating enough fat, not making sure you get at least one fist-sized serving of starchy vegetables each day, not drinking enough water (aim for 1/2 oz per pound of body weight, so if you weigh 120 lbs, aim for at least 60 oz of water each day), or not salting food.
