Goat butter may be less allergenic than cow butter, but unless you clarify the goat butter, it is not acceptable during a Whole30. My quick reading found that goat butter lacks casein, but there are likely to be other goat milk proteins that must be removed (by clarifying) to make it acceptable during a Whole30.

 

Coconut oil is fine as is.

Both fats would be primarily saturated fat. Coconut oil contains medium chain fatty acids which are nice to have in your diet.

 

Really, the important things would be a variety of fat choices and avoiding inflammatory seed oils.
