Carrie Wood
I have now finished the whole 30 days, stuck to the programme with 99% organic food, and am half way through the reintroductions. Before beginning it, i would regularly wake up with a heavy belly, not hungry in the mornings, even when I made sure I ate hours before going to bed. I hoped this would change throughout the whole 30, but now, 5 weeks into it, and I still regularly throughout the programme have had this feeling in the morning. I have wondered if I was eating too much for each meal, but when I tried eating less I was still hungry and didn't feel 'full'. I also wonder if it's best for me to stop eating before I'm full as maybe I am addicted to an over full feeling. Things I've thought about as the reason - not chewing enough, eating too fast, eating too late, over eating, slow digestion... It feels like my body has trouble digesting. Would love some feed back or advise. Many thanks
jmcbn
It's difficult to tell without knowing what exactly you were eating...Can you post a few days worth of food/liquid intake, indicating portion sizes, along with sleep/stress/activity levels? Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 20, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2015 Saying that you feel troubled by a heavy, full belly makes me think you should try taking a digestive enzyme for a while. It won't hurt and it might help. Read a bit about digestive enzymes at... chrisd
I had a very similar feeling approaching day 30. I really felt I couldn't stomach my 4 egg omelette etc. any longer. I decided to give eggs a miss for a while and had tuna/chicken with veg and fat and soon improved. A week later I felt better than ever and happier than I have been in a long long time. :-)
