marciphoto Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 I suffer from GERD and was hoping that would go away with the Whole 30 but I am 2 1/2 weeks in and I still have it. jmcbn Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Your problem is actually that you don't have enough acid in your stomach, rather than too much, so the stomach has to work harder to churn the acid it has around quite violently which causes a back flow to the eosophagus, which in turn causes the pain.Try a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar after meals, followed by a glass of water.
