Newbie Questions

I am sure this has been asked before, however, I am starting the Whole30 tomorrow and am being paranoid.  Can I use balsamic vinegar on my salads even though the label says 2g of sugar?  Also the same for Cashews.  I found a jar of whole cashew, unsalted, but still has 2g of sugar.  Are these compliant?  Thanks!
