Cajun Gypsy
Ugh - I got a stomach virus last night, and am totally out of bone broth. Sadness. My diet today has consisted of a banana, a boiled potato with salt, and a banana with almond butter. I have no appetite. Any suggestions on what I could eat? I am on the tail end of this thing - feel way better than I did last night, and want to wake up tomorrow bursting with energy!

Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 24, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 24, 2015 Scrambled eggs, chicken breast, mashed potato (white or sweet), kombucha, really anything that you find palatable and which is somewhat easy on your stomach. Don't be too worried if you wake up in the morning and you are not bursting with energy, a digestive system bug can take a few days to fully recover from....even after you start eating. jmcbn
On top of what ladyshanny has said above I'd suggest maybe some blended soup or some herbal tea - you can get teas with ginger in them which may help settle your tummy, plus they'll help keep you hydrated.I'd lay off the nut butter for now. Katka
Hi I would really suggest chicken broth and tea made from ginger with lemon. I also wasn't feeling well at the beginning. For me it is hard to get use to not eating sugar hope you are well soon.
