melfish
Hello! I am supposed be starting my second Whole30 on September 1, but as of yesterday I came down with a nasty infection and am taking a 10-course of antibiotics. Would you suggest waiting until those are complete to begin, or would it be okay to go ahead and start? I'm also having a hard time finding a probiotic to take that isn't off plan, but I really feel like I should be taking one. Thanks!! - Melody
Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 28, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 28, 2015 It's always good to eat as nutritiously and whole as you possibly can, especially when you are under the weather. That said, the first 10 days of Whole30 can be somewhat miserable depending on how your regular intake is so doing that while also recovering from an illness. If it was me I think I would focus on eating as well as I possibly could and then wait until I was feeling fully able to undertake my Whole30. cayenne
I had to be on a long course(4weeks) of several antibiotics for an infection after surgery. I hate to say, but I really needed the yogurt for the probiotics in addition to the capsules I take anyway. Just get better, eat healthy and the W30 will be here when you get well. cayenne
Ooopps, I forgot to add-read your label! Maybe the antibitoic cannot be taken with dairy. Not pushing dairy but that is what most folks take. Do the sauercrout(I cant spell) or that drink that starts with a K that is supposed to be good for your tummy as well-kumbacha???
