marciphoto
I keep waiting to feel better on this program but it is not happening. I am following the plan to the letter but still have good days and bad. I am not sleeping as well as I used to. I get up three or four times during the night to pee and also becasue I am wet with sweat even though my AC is turned down. I also have been having frequent bad dreams. Today I am congested, feverish, and lethargic. I've been reading that some need to give up eggs and nightshades as well. I hope I don't need to do that as there would not be much left to eat. I dropped a few pounds during the first week but they have returned even though I have given up sugar, grains, and dairy. This is very discouraging. Has anyone esle had similar issues? GFChris
Are you coming down with a cold or flu? Being congested and feverish are not normal outcomes of the Whole30 or eating protein, veg and fat. With the night sweats that you're experiencing, are you in menopause? Can you post 2-3 days worth of your log, including portion sizes, daily water consumption and any exercise? From there, we can see if anything stands out.
marciphoto
I must have had a bug - lasted 3 days but fee better today. Today is Day 29 and I do feel OK. If I am being totally honest and objective I don't notice any difference from before I started the Whole 30. I have days when I feel good and days when I don't. Never had the Tiger Blood. Should I postpone reintroduction until I really feel different?
GFChris
Glad you're feeling better! What sort of outcomes were you looking to get from a Whole30? How different is how you've been eating on a Whole30 before you took on this program? Again, if you post a few days worth of your Whole30 log, as requested above in my earlier post, we can give you more specific feedback as to whether you're on the right track. Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted September 2, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2015 Yes, please give us two or three days of food at each meal (and in between, if any), sleep, water intake, stress levels. We want to help!
arosenberg01
My husband felt like this for his first 2 whole 30's. We are on our third and this time he's being REALLY careful about reading labels and making 100% sure there isn't any contraband in everything he eats. Not saying you're not doing that but maybe look at what you're eating, and, if you're on any vitamin or anything check those ingredients too!! I had been bloated and miserable and then I found that two of my supplements had honey and one had soy! Stoped taking those and I feel great now. I'm on day 17. Did you start the program over when you stopped taking your supplements? I just realized the same thing and it made me very sick yesterday (Day 14) and I'm trying to find out if I need to start over in order the effectively complete the program.
