Rheumtoid arthritis.............NSV!

I am 21 days into my Whole30 and I truly feel like this is the best thing I've ever done for myself! I had my labs drawn today at my rheumatology appointment and I am floored! My inflammatory markers have plummeted! The only thing I am doing differently is following this program. They weighed me, and I am down 13lbs! The weight loss is great but I am super excited about my blood work.

I have a lot of arthritis in my hands and I am hoping that this clean living/eating will put it in remission.  It is great to hear how you have made progress.  I will start again tomorrow for my second whole 30. The first time I did it, I failed after 13 days (it was mom's day and I drank a glass of wine and bread and fried calamari).  I got on track and lasted 30 days, but I discovered that it took about 45 days for my joints to feel better.  So here I go again....I am glad to hear about your progress-it inspires  me .

I hope that you find Whole30 helpful for your arthritis! My wife has psoriatic arthritis and saw her rheumatologist last week. Her blood work, while still elevated is looking better. Her inflammatory markers are high, but trending down. I'm hopeful as we continue with this way of eating that we'll see even greater benefits!
