Fredje
I started the whole 30 on august 15th and after a week of misery am now getting into it. Just as I expected the "tigers blood" to kick in though.. i caught the kids back to school cold.. and am now more tired than ever. also, haven't found high oleic sunflower oil here, so have been using regular sunflower oil for mayos and such. have i done it completely wrong? this stressed me out quite a lot last night when i was reading through my "it starts with food" book... NY2LA2MONTREAL
Hi from Canada My husband and I started on Aug 13 and it took us a few days to get our "sea legs" and like you we are really into it. I too got sick with a bronchial infection a few days in but persevered. We are loving it and can't wait for the Tigers blood. FYI I use extra light olive oil for my mayo and it is great Good luck and enjoy the rest of your journey

You could try light tasting olive oil, or some other popular choices are macadamia, walnut, avocado and coconut oil. Sunflower oil isn't really recommended for regular use. Hope this helps
Fredje
thank you! i found light olive oil so using that at the mo. on day 24 but due to a cold still feel fatigued and tired... a bit sad the tigers blood hasn't kicked in yet as that is what i was really hoping for after these 30 days. If you'd like to post a few days worth of your typical food/liquid intake, along with activity/stress/sleep levels we could take a look and see if you could make any tweaks going forward. Quite often the composition of meals play a big role in achieving Tiger Blood status, as opposed to just eating compliant foods.
Fredje
hmm, that`s interesting. I have been eating a lot of eggs, (2-3 scrambled in the morning) and added some berries and or some veggies with that. Always a bit of mayo or avocado to go with. Lunch has been leftovers mainly, veggies with some form of protein (meatballs in tomato sauce, chicken or other) and dinner similar. I have been drinking kombucha and water with ginger and lime. once in a while i have added almond butter and apple slices to my dinner when I`ve needed something extra...
