Lara Bars

Lara bars are only for emergencies. You should always eat real who food. Prepare your breakfast the night before - egg muffins are easy to take along. You are need vegetables with your breakfast 1-3 cups before any fruit. The Lara Bar and Banana don't fit the meal template - Protein+Vegetables+Fat. Read the label on the seltzer water.

In short, no.

Larabars are for emergency use only. Breakfast is not an emergency. A larabar is not real food. Neither is banana a breakfast.

Please take a look at the meal template & build your meals to match it - three times a day. Protein, fats & veggies.

There are many grab & go options, such as veg/egg/protein muffins or frittata that can be prepped in advance. Or just cook enough in one go that you always have left overs.

So long as the flavours are compliant, flavoured seltzer is fine - just don't let it take the place of regular water.

It would be compliant as far as the ingredients.  Your results are going to be a direct reflection of eating fruit and nutty bars for 20 days on Day 30.

The daily emergency.  One other member did this every day and it was a flop.  Those bars didn't make them feel so hot.

Non-cooking Whole 30's are not the way you want to go.

Hi All - Can i have 1 Lara Bar (compliant flavor) with a Banana every weekday morning? I go to work very early and just cant cook every morning while doing the whole 30.

Also, is flavored seltzer water ok sometimes?

There are LOADS of people who don't cook every morning.  In fact, I'm almost certain that most of us don't.  If you prep ahead of time (chop veggies, saute protein, make sauces) then morning 'cooking' is a matter of throwing a combination of those in a frying pan or the microwave and voila!

Here's a 4 week meal plan starting with Week 1 that teaches you how to do a weekly cookup so you are eating real food and not relying on the 'paleo' version of a candy bar
