Started on Aug 31...No tobacco HELP

Hello All, I am new this is my first time doing the Whole30, have been Paleo on and off for a bout 2 years.

Decided to do the Whole30, but man its tough without the tobacco, I chewed Copenhagen.

Anyone have any ideas on things to chew on or what not. Please sound off.

Chewing when not eating isn't really recommended as it sends signal to your stomach that food is on it's way when really it isn't...

Can you maybe get into the habit of sipping on some water - I find I'm more likely to lift a sports bottle & take a sip occasionally rather than a glass.

Sorry, I've never been a smoker but I realize my suggestion is not even nearly the same - it's for the good of your digestive system though! (And I'm guessing your oral hygiene too...)

I know about cowboys and cowgirls that chew.  Replace your chew with a toothpick, pine needles or a twig. Learn some fancy twirling tricks with your toothpick.  The girls will like it. 

 

 

Not me, no sirree!  My grampa used to chew a toothpick after dinner and from time to time into the evening. When we were little and would go to give him a kiss goodnight he would suck in his toothpick...but sometimes not quite far enough.  Nothing like being stabbed in the lips with a splinter just before bed!
