Oils that are compliant to Whole 30

Day three and realizing that I've still got so many questions.  When I was doing my grocery shopping I only purchased EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and am staring to not like the taste in some of the salad dressing recipes.  After looking at what's on the "OK" list and what's available to purchase here locally, I wondered where safflower and sunflower oils stand?  They are not listed on the "OK to use" and they are not in the "Do not use" lists, so I thought I would bring the question to the experts!

Safflower and sunflower are seed oils. We encourage you to minimize seed oils, but you could use them in a dressing and remain Whole30-compliant. Rather than do that, however, you might want to try a "light tasting" olive oil that might be more neutral for your dressing. It should also be cheaper than EVOO. Also, EVOO is not uniform. You can go to a specialty store and taste different varieties of EVOO. The range of tastes available is broad. I really like some and don't like others.
