rcrough
Hey, I started 4 days ago. 9/8/2015 Friday night is tough without winding down with my glass of wine. Also, it's tough for me to not snack but at least I has compliant treats on hand.
northwoodsmom8
rcrough--What are your compliant treats? Love getting ideas. I'm on day 18 and feeling fantastic! Energy, clear-headed and sleeping well. Do you have any health issues that were an impetus for you starting a WHOLE30?
KerleyL
This is day #3 for me. I've felt very foggy. I've heard that common, just wondering how long it usually lasts. Here's good treat, roughly 1/2-1 cup of frozen blueberries with just enough coconut milk to coat them. It forms a shell over the berries. Doesn't take the place of ice cream, but it's not bad. And, of course, you can use any frozen berry. Here's to the end of day #3 and on to day #4!
CaGirl
The idea here girls is to get away from "treats" even though you're using compliant ingredients… I've done the same but once you hang around here and read more you'll see how they're discouraged.. Make sure your eating plenty at your meals.. you soon will break the treat habit
QuilterInVA
We are to eat 3 meals a day, no snacking or "treating". The blueberry concoction comes close to breaking the rule no using compliant ingredients to make off limit foods like ice cream. If you follow the meal template, you won't feel the need for treats.
