Coconut milk in my coffee/tea?

I am halfway through my first whole 30 and even though I am feeling good and am enjoying the foods, I am not seeing much progress in terms of looser clothing etc. is having coconut milk in your coffee/tea allowed or does that count as cheating?

If the coconut milk does not have any off-plan ingredients (sugar, carrageenan and sulfites are common issues), then coconut milk is a fine addition to your coffee or tea. That said, it might be helpful to post a few days worth of meals (include activity levels, meal times, food amounts in reference to the meal template) to see if there are any tweaks we could suggest to make things go more smoothly for you.

Thanks @missmary!

The coconut milk only has coconut in it so all good - yay!

I usually eat brekkie around 7.30-8 and normally have 3 eggs scrambled with some mixed green leaves, snow peas and olive oil. Sometimes some nuts added.

Lunch is usually salad or stir fry topped with either chicken, lamb or beef strips. I try and have an apple after lunch.

For dinner we cook whole30 recipes like stuffed capsicum w kale and almonds, curried root veggies, etc. I eat until I'm full and my portions are fairly large, but that's so j don't snack and I figured as I'm filling up on lean protein and veg it shouldn't matter?!?

I go for a run (5-12kms) twice times a week and try and walk everywhere I can. I used to do a lot more fitness-wise but haven't been for about 2 months before starting the whole 30 and my weight hasn't changed at all.

I'm really frustrated as I was hoping this would be finally something that would get me on track, no matter how slowly. My skin has also gotten quite bad and I've been breaking out a bit. I can only hope that the second half will get better results, but maybe I'm missing something?!?

First, a gentle reminder that it's a 30 day program.

Second, you might try dropping the nuts.  They can cause skin issues for some, and also are recommended to be limited as a fat option on a Whole30.   You might also try dropping the salad and any raw veggies as they can cause bloating for some: switch to all cooked veggies instead.

When you say you "try and have an apple after lunch" is that a snack between lunch and dinner or it is part of your lunch?

How much water are you drinking? We recommend 1/2 an ounce of water per pound of body weight, daily.
