cinagain
We spent last weekend at a place that hosts weddings, rents cabins, etc. It's ran by a professional chef. I can remember, in the past, loving her cooking. Now, not so much. It all feels heavy and "gluggy." The first meal I had after returning home was a big salad of kale, salmon, homemade mayo, and olives. Today, lunch was salmon spread (salmon, homemade mayo and celery) on chopped tomatoes. So good! I'm not currently doing a W30 and, in fact, let way too much sugar into my food choices. But W30 has really changed a lot of my tastes in general and changed the way I view food. All for the better! JenX
I completely agree. Last night I was having bacon fat-roasted Brussels sprouts and leftover chicken and I was happy as could be! I couldn't imagine a better meal right at that moment. I'm currently not on Whole 30 either but so prefer the food I tend to eat mostly compliant all the time now. Raven
I'm in the same boat! For the past six months I ate whatever I wanted (no Whole30, no challenges), and the best meals I had during that time were all Whole30 compliant!
cayenne
Went out to eat for hubbies BD last weekend and almost gagged at the site of frenchfries coated in chili and the blooming onion thing.
