atthewoods
In ISWF the Hartwigs mention trying eggs with fruit. Specifically they mention liking scrambled eggs with poached peaches, spinach, and basil. Does anyone know the preparation of this? Do they scramble all the mentioned ingredients together? Or serve scrambled eggs layered with the other ingredients? (ie on a bed of spinach with peaches & basil over the top?) I would like to experiment with this but looking for methods already tried & recommended. Thanks!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 16, 2015 I totally missed that in the book, but a quick google found this (obviously, as she points out, skip the feta cheese on Whole30).
Ljmurray
I've been making a breakfast salad with arugula, peaches and poached eggs topped with olive oil, vinegar and salt. Easy and good!
whole30ashtangi
I've been making a breakfast salad with arugula, peaches and poached eggs topped with olive oil, vinegar and salt. Easy and good! I do that PLUS TJ's chicken sausage (most flavors are compliant just double check!).
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted September 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 18, 2015 You all inspired me to revisit the Sunrise Scramble from Well Fed 2 - ground pork, apples, spinach, cinnamon and sage and eggs scramble. Delicious!
