etaffy
I might be overreacting, but I'm concerned about breaking out and figuring out what the culprit is. I rarely break out (maybe one pimple a month) but I started reintro's last week and have broken out on my chin a couple of times. I actually broke out (one zit on my chin) right before my Whole 30 ended, but I'm not sure if that's related. I'm slow rolling reintroductions (day 30 was about 10 days ago) - but so far I've reintroduced non gluten grains (corn mostly), sugar, alcohol, and a little bit of dairy. Since reintros I've also probably gone a little crazy on nut butters and have had a couple smoothies. I also messed up my birth control and skipped two days on accident, so it could be related to that. I don't really have a whole list of what I've eaten in the past 10 days because frankly I am not that organized. Any ideas of the culprits? I may be over reacting to my 3 zits, but I'd like for it not to continue! thanks

I'd probably go back to Whole30 eating until your skin clears up, taking both corn & nut butters out of the equation, & then try corn again and see what happens. Even if it IS the nut butter you won;t get an immediate reaction from it in the same way that you might from corn as with the nut butter the skin breakout generally comes from a build up of it in the system. RealFoodieRD
I would try eliminating the foods you reintroduced again. Maybe do a whole9? Then wait several days to 1 week between reintroducing different foods just so you have enough time for your body to show signs of an intolerance. This should help you pinpoint which food(s) are causing you to react. I'm new to Whole30 but I'm a dietitian so I feel like I have some knowledge on this. etaffy
Interesting! Thanks guys. Ugh...such a struggle with the nuts/nut butters. I just love them. And that's interesting about corn. Honestly, reintros seem to be the hardest part of Whole 30! I can see why people do multiple. I've been slow rolling it and very cautious but still - pinpointing the issue is no easy task! QuilterInVA
You are going to have to keep a list of the foods you are introducing and how you feel after eating them if you want to pinpoint just what the cause is. We can't guess if we don't know what you are eating in what amounts.
