Allia
I was wondering if reintroducing something at M3 of one day, plus at M1 of the next day would be okay, time-wise.
GFChris
Are they in the same food group? (e.g., cheese and yogurt in dairy group; or rice and corn in non-gluten grain group) If so, I guess this ok. If, however, they are different food groups, you don't want to reintro two different food groups that close to each other: put at least two days of 100% Whole30 eating in between. missmary
put at least two days of 100% Whole30 eating in between. There are two reasons for this. One: the protocol asks that you have the reintroduced foods at three meals in a row. Some people will not be sensitive to just one serving, but find over time, eating the same thing a sensitivity builds up. This is useful information. Two: Sometimes reactions are delayed or reactions linger for a while. It is best to be done reacting to the first food before you try adding the second. In fact, if you are still experiencing symptoms from your first reintroduced food I would delay the second one even longer (eating whole30 that whole time) to be sure that the second reintroduction is on a "clean slate" so to speak. Allia
Thanks! They were two of the same foods (peanuts), so it was okay.
