Whole 30 done, and....

We finished our Whole 30 this week and are very happy with the results!   We both lost both pounds and inches and notice our clothes fitting better.  We had plenty to eat and we had a lot of fun trying new recipes and being creative with spices and seasonings.   We're not sure our Tiger Blood ever really got revved up, and we still find ourselves wanting dessert after some meals, but we are much more aware of WHAT we're eating--we make more thoughtful choices, and we read labels like crazy now!   Both of us had some upper-respiratory crud during our last week, so we're continuing for at least a week more, maybe two, before we start re-introductions.   Thanks for all the guidance--the "what to expect each day" really helped us know what to expect and how to deal with it.  We've shared with some friends what we're doing, and while many of them aren't quite ready to jump on the bandwagon (some are!), they've all at least listened politely and said they want to hear about our results, so we'll be happy to tell them!   We think this will be a lifestyle choice we will continue to make--we want the next phase of our lives to be as healthy as possible, and It Starts With Food...
