My NSV for the past few days -

coworker told me that my waist was looking extra curvy and hourglass-y

my dress pants were too big!, so I had to scrounge around for a belt to wear with them, ended up finding a belt that had never fit before and using that

my jeans are too big, even right after washing and air drying

my "comfortable" hiking pants are too big, and my "too small" hiking pants are just right.

1.Everything in my closet fits! Everything!

2. My gums quit bleeding.

3. Stayed in a hotel last weekend and the hotel towel went around my whole body. No gaps. This hasn't happened in a long time.

4. Saw old friends who said to me,"Why do you think you need to lose more weight?" I do but folks are seeing a slim person now!

5. A friend took a picture of me and I liked it. I really like pics of me these days.

6. I feel like for the first time in a long time, it's about me in a healthy way. I put me first, my food, time to eat the food, time to prep it, etc. Before, I'd just go along. Now I demand that I get whole30. In a good way.

7. Non compliant food doesn't taste as good as it once did. Why bother?

8. I'm happier. I started looking at my job while on W30 and wondered if it wasn't time for a change. When you're happier, you tend to notice the crap mire you've somehow sunk into. Again, time for a change?

There's more, but these are some of the quick thoughts that I've been pondering since completing a very successful W30 since late September. The non guilt around food too. That's huge for me as well.

Thanks for listening.

I can differentiate between being hungry and having a craving (for sugar, even if it may just be an apple). 50% of the time, I don't eat the apple. Haha. I love apples.

I reintroduced a little honey yesterday and immediately noticed it woke my sugar dragon big time! Absolutely no fruit for me today to stay on track.

I'm down half a clothing size. Which also means no pants fit me. Oh well.

I'm on day 39 of a Whole60, and previously did my first Whole30 over June/July. Today, I pulled out my cold-weather clothes to see what I could move back into my wardrobe. I was very pleased to find that many of the things that hadn't fit at the start of summer fit now, or are close enough that I expect I'll be able to wear them at the end of the Whole60. My weight and inches lost have been slow, but clearly persistent. Not to mention all the overall health things - more energy for my very demanding job, generally better sleep, hair my stylist has praised (told me to keep eating my greens!), and fewer cravings for those comfort foods that I know are awful for my body.

It's funny how overweight people seem to think that becoming non-overweight means you are becoming "too" skinny.

1.My restless legs are gone, that is huge, what a terrible disease.  Now I just need to wean off the medicine.

2.My favorite pants fit again after a decade.

3. I get up wide awake at 6 am in the darkest days of winter.

4. My pain level in my hips is way down and I can get out of a chair without wincing and limping.

5. Yoga stretches don't hurt.
