Which book do I start with?

It Starts With Food was the first book. It has more science in it as to how foods affect our bodies. I really found this to be very helpful. The second book "The Whole30" has more recipes and while explaining what to do, doesn't go so much into the why. You can do this without buying anything if you go to www.Whole30.com and read all the info there, but I do highly recommend the books.

Although "It starts with food" is the first book, I actually think it is more detailed and advanced than the newer "whole30" book. Which book is best to start with would depend on whether you are a person who wants to just jump in and do the program (then, I would say the second book) or if you need to fully understand why the program is the way it is (the first book).
