First Whole30 Starting Oct 1st.-Newbie with a sugar hangover.

This is my first ever Whole30. I'm starting today, after a sugar binge last night that woke me at 2:30am with a raging headache, night sweats, dizziness, and nausea. I fell back to sleep at 4:30am, woke at 7:30am feeling like I had the worst hangover of my life. I guess I did, when I think about. The culprit: Not tequila but CANDY CORN! That's right. Half a bag of Brachs Candy Corn. It's 1pm PDT and I'm still suffering from my ridiculous candy corn hangover.

So, I'm starting. Today. I have no idea what to expect. I'm feeling doubtful and apprehensive that my body will see much in the way of results, but I'm willing to give it a try because my sugar addiction is out of control. My Aspartame addiction is out of control: I could drink a six pack of Diet Coke and not think anything about it. My gluten cravings are out of control, and I have a serious gluten intolerance which creates digestive issues that are too embarrassing to mention. Honestly people, if there is a sugar rock-bottom, I've hit it.

I hope someone will reply to this post because I seriously feel like I'm about to hurl all while hurling myself off my disastrous dietary cliff! I really do think I scared myself straight last night.

OMG. It's October. And I love candy corn.


You are not alone. Sugar and fast food drive-thru windows. Over the last year, I've fallen into a bottomless pit full of both.


I've started my Whole30 today too. We can do this!
