Almond overload or just too much computer time?

Hi - I'm on day 7 and have been eating clean.  I love meats and veggies so that part has not been horrible.  Last night (Friday night) I went out for the first time with friends to a movie.  took a baggie of almonds and sparkling water in my purse (planning-yeah!).  It was a fat closed fist of almonds.  I adore movie popcorn so I knew I needed something to replace that.  Went out for drinks after and had a club soda with lime.  Well this morning I woke with a bad headache.  I really have not hit tiger's blood, but feel much better than I was feeling and digestive problems really improved.  I was surprised by the headache.  But...I spent all week crunching numbers for a big report and was intense on the computer scrubbing spreadsheets...maybe it's just muscle strain?  Could it be too many almonds?  Should not have been the club soda...I did not think there was any sugar in club soda.  Anyway - I'm committed to continue this journey...just need to figure the right balance!

I'd doubt that a handful of almonds would casue a headache, although whilst your almonds were compliant we'd encourage you to not replace a popcorn habit with an almond one as it's still that kind of mindless hand to mouth eating we try to discourage.

How's your water intake? Are you salting your food? Are you eating enough food in general? Getting enough sleep? Apart from your extended computer time all of these could contribute to your headache.
