theadventuresofemilyann
Hi all, I decided to do a Whole30 after hearing a ton about it from a good friend, who has done it several times. I always worried that I wouldn't have time to prep the food and plan out my meals, that I would not be able to cope without bread and cheese and wine, and so I never gave it a second thought. Over the past year, I've moved across the country, started a job which I hated, and ate and drank way too much as a means to cope. I've recently started a NEW job which I love, and I think my renewed satisfaction with my day-to-day work has been the impetus for looking at other ways to improve my life. My months of overdoing it have definitely be showing in the tightness of my clothes and in my waning energy (though my two boys, ages 2 and almost-4 may have something to do with that too...) and I finally decided to take the plunge and start Whole30. I love the idea that it is a total reset. I think that is precisely what I need, for myself and for my family. To keep things interesting for me, I started an Instagram devoted to my meals this month: @theadventuresofemilyann. Check it out if you are so inclined! I am so excited to be here!
