MamaJ
I know it's a rule not to drink fruit juice. Lemon is a fruit, so is adding a wedge of lemon to water okay or not? I start my first Whole30 on Sunday and just thought of this question tonight! Thank you in advance for your help
Brewer5
It's fine. This is completely different than juicing.
Mistyfire
Sure, that's fine. Lime is very nice, too. And sometimes adding them to seltzer water makes a refreshing drink with a little zip to it.
Seafarer
Or keep a pitcher of water in the fridge with cucumber slices... or cubes of cantaloupe or strawberries or other fruit. No reason the water can't be delicious as well as good for you.
MamaJ
Awesome, thank you! Day 1 was yesterday and went great. Now onto day 2!
Barteau1
What about using TRUE Lemon? Says 100% natural but it's crystallized cold pressed lemon?
GFChris
What about using TRUE Lemon? Says 100% natural but it's crystallized cold pressed lemon? No. This product contains maltodextrin, according to their website, which makes this non-compliant.
Nonnie 33
What about essential oils? I have been using doTERRA Lemon Oil in my water for a couple of years now. Sometimes lime and orange as well. It's approximately 2 drops in a large glass of water. Would this be compliant? That being said, I often use peppermint on my temples for a headache, a citrus blend for an energy boost, and more. Any problems using the oils during my 1st Whole 30? TIA
