Cleighwest
My husband brought home chipotle tonight. I'd already told him I was starting the whole30 yesterday, but he didn't really understand all details. He brought me a bowl with rice, beans, barbacoa, pico and guacamole. I picked the compliant things off and left the rice and beans, but inevitably some bits made it through. This was certainly not an intentional "cheat" and the amount seems relatively insignificant. Do I really need to start all over?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 17, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2015 Your body does not care about your intentions. When you eat non-compliant foods even in small amounts, your healing process starts over. Do I have to start over? http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
Cleighwest
Thanks Tom. I pretty much knew the answer already. Just annoying because it was literally 2 beans and 10 pieces of rice. Ugh!
GFChris
Thanks Tom. I pretty much knew the answer already. Just annoying because it was literally 2 beans and 10 pieces of rice. Ugh! Oh, and FWIW, the Chipotle Barbacoa is not compliant, as it contains rice bran oil. https://chipotle.com...dient-statement I don't say that to make you feel worse, just to inform you that it wasn't only the beans and rice that weren't compliant, and to not have the barbacoa again until after your finish your new Whole30.
