Erica Gucc
Hi Everyone! My doctor recently perscribed this medical food to help treat my bowel movements, which are abnormal due to Crohn's Disease. I just got them in the mail and havent started them yet, but I started my whole 30 today. I read the packet. They are all kinds of things free, such as gluten, whey, soy, and caesin free. But it does contain a trace amount of dextrose. Does this count it out of the whole 30, or is there an exception because it is a medical treatment and I am not really using it as a sweetner or anything...I bet it tastes nasty! Anyway, let me know. Thanks!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted October 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2015 Doctors' orders always trump Whole30 rules, so since this is prescribed by your doctor, it's okay.
