WhereIsMeeshamabelle
Hey everyone So here's the deal, I have always been more prone to acne, but never this much. I have noticed that during my Whole 30 journey it's gotten worse. Many of the things I've read online have told me that it's possibly a "skin purge" because of all the bacteria & toxins leaving my body.. I do believe that to an extent, but not 100%. I also know people mention almonds(or eggs) are a big factor (those aren't a huge intake for me... maybe a small amount for both every few days.) Just curious what you can recommend for tweaking my diet? Things that I can add more of or take away to lessen it? I'm just annoyed because in week two it seemed to be dissapating, but now that I'm at the end of my journey (even though I intend to keep going) It's worse then ever. Help! michelle
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted October 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2015 I've moved your topic from the Announcements section of the forum to the Troubleshooting section. For people to give you recommendations regarding your food, it's helpful to know a couple of days' worth of typical food, including approximate portion sizes, as well as water intake, sleep, stress levels, and anything else you think might be relevant. Are there any foods that were new to you for Whole30? Or that you're eating a lot more of? In general, make sure you're drinking plenty of water (aim for 1/2 oz per pound of body weight, so if you weigh 120 lbs, aim for at least 60 oz a day).
