murielyanine
Hi everyone, My name is Muriel. I started my Whole30 on October 23rd and so far so good. It's the first time that I am committing to an eating regimen like this but I am feeling positive I'll follow through. I was planning to make tartar sauce tonight and had some dill pickles in my fridge that I bought earlier this summer so I wasn't really paying attention to ingredients on labels. However, I noticed that this one includes Alum and polysorbate 80, yellow 5, blue 1 as part of the ingredients...I looked at the list of off-limit additives and didn't see these listed. Can anyone confirm if these are OK? Thanks, MH
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted October 31, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2015 They're not ruled out on a Whole30, but when you go to buy pickles next time, you can certainly find brands without them.
murielyanine
Thanks Shannon! To be safe I went and bought one without those ingredients.
