Question for the Men (But ladies come on in)

So i'm 41 days into this.  I've done this before and the weight loss results were wonderful (which is what I wanted).  This time around I'm losing weight as well but the mental and physical effects feel great so I have decided to just adopt this as life long. With that being said, I wanted to know from the men how long did it take before you stopped losing weight just from eating healthy alone and you plateaued out with your weight loss?  I ask men because our bodies are different from women (of course lol) and I realize that everyone's (men) response will be different but I'm just using it as a gauge.   Thanks

I lost 2 pounds per month for 15 months in a row while my exercise levels remained about the same. I dropped from roughly 214 to 184. I am now more than 5 years into eating Whole30-style and my weight remains at 184.

I had been at 230 when my work demands changed and I started exercising again. I tried really hard to lose weight with exercise and only managed to get down to 214 over two years. I started the Whole30 to try to break the plateau I was at. It worked. :)

Actually, I have gone through phases with exercise. I have had several periods of lifting weights very heavy and getting a lot stronger and other periods where I focused on yoga or crawling. I only weigh at my doctors office, so I can't say I have not fluctuated a few pounds during any of these periods, but over time my weight has been stable.

Cool.  Thank you for the input.  I dropped 10 pounds my first 30 days (not water though real weight).  I do cardio right now.  I was doing weights which I will go back to but right now I'm making this process as simple as possible.  If I overthink it or over do it I will stress and that won't be good.  And yes I was at 255 and all my working out was doing no good anymore (like when I was in my thirties) and paleo has definitely broken that because i don't have the crazy cravings and don't eat in the middle of the night anymore.  I'm just going to keep doing this and hopefully get some more weight down.  Thanks again for the input.
