Reintroduction After Third Whole30

Hi all!

 

I've done Whole30 three times (currently on day 32 of round three) in the past 1.5 years. Do you think it's necessary to complete the reintroduction phase again? I already know what my body does and doesn't do well with, and I plan on making an effort to stay away from those foods whenever I eat something that's not Whole30 compliant. Thanks in advance for the input!

Reintro is always important (even if you don't do a structured one) because what once might've been alright and an acceptable response/reaction may no longer feel that way.

Thank you! There are things I probably won't bother with (soy, legumes, most dairy, etc.) because I know I don't want them, period. My friend who has been paleo for years is bringing in a cinnamon roll nut butter after lunch for me to try a bite of. The only thing in it that isn't Whole30 is maple syrup. I want to keep doing Whole30, and when I'm not Whole30 I'd like to be paleo 95% of the time. I used to look for excuses to eat something I shouldn't or that wasn't program compliant, but I don't feel that way this time. I haven't been tempted by the office treats. I haven't craved the Chinese buffet or other things that lack in traditional value that I used to love. I don't even want cheese or wine, and I've had paleo-compliant chocolate at home for weeks that I don't even care about opening. I don't know what's happened to me, but I like it. I'm certainly not trying to skip a step so I can get to something bad, I just don't think I need the full reintroduction phase. Maybe tasting this maple syrup in the nut butter can be my day one of natural sweetener reintroduction, haha.
