suzaloo
Instead of caving to the bowl of sugary goodness calling my name, I scrambled up 2 eggs and that hit the spot...well sort of...
David Lyon_4267
Well done, you don't have to do everything the pops into your head. You decide what ideas to accept or reject.
DVeep
The eggs were a great idea. What I've read from the Whole30 site, or was it the book, that if you are having cravings, you could have a small meal of protein and fat. Or try a spoonful of coconut oil. Or a glass of water and wait 10 minutes? I am confident the sugar cravings will go away after the first week or two, of eating lots of healthy fats and protein. I would caution against attacking that bag of almonds or cashews. I finally figured out that when I went paleo in January, in order to curb my cravings, I ate way too many nuts and had red blemishes by my nose every single day, until I stopped eating almonds. That was so surprising to me. I grew up with 8 almond trees on our property and ate them (the almonds, not the trees) without ever having a derm problem. Good luck! suzaloo
I had a dream last night that I went out to a restaurant and ate a ton of mexican food. Tacos, cheese dip and all the fixins! I woke up feeling guilty b/c I thought I had done it at first!

I ate too many nuts in my Whole30 in August and I am trying to do another clean out this time with no nuts/nut butters (I would eat it by the spoonful). I hope my skin clears up that much more. Yeah...I think for my next Whole30...no nuts. I really didn't have any nut butters, until I got coconut butter & sunbutter which turns out: I like more than almond butter!
