December 1, 2015 Start Date

I'm tired of being tired. I'm 54 and I feel like I'm 80. How am I gonna feel when I'm 80? If I live that long. I'm stiff and sore all day every day. I feel polluted, so starting December 1, 2015 I will start my first Whole30.

I get a really good amount of exercise (walking, yoga & weight lifting) on a regular basis so I believe it will be changing my diet that will make me feel better. The focus is really feeling better, but if I lose the extra 15 pounds I've gained over the last few years that will be wonderful!

This plan makes so much sense, and I love that I won't be weighing and measuring food all day long. I am really looking forward to more energy, sleeping better and fewer aches and pains. I believe it is changing my diet that will do it.

My spouse will be doing this with me, so I'm sure we will be successful! Between now and Dec 1, I'll be making better choices and weaning myself from the really hard things (wine & Diet Coke). That way it won't be a cold turkey shock to my system.

Looking forward to my Whole30!!

I had two glasses of wine last night and I feel like crap this morning. I have a headache and my neck and shoulders are all bound up. Maybe wine won't be so hard to give up after all. If I can just remember how I feel today, when I'm craving that sugar alcohol, it won't be hard at all.

Kaaina, I'm 68 and doing a Whole30 is part of my "future-proofing" for my 90's. I want them to be active and creative!

Meanwhile, my Whole30 is helping me to manage chronic pain, and to keep exercising, and to stay unflustered with a demanding work schedule. I'm sleeping more (which I needed) and sleeping better. As a bonus, EVERYTHING I'm wearing is looser, even my Apple Watch!

You already have the exercise component of health in place, but I bet you will see a real change in your vitality and sense of well-being. I certainly have, and it's just Day 13. "Who knew" nutrition is actually, you know, important?
