I will be starting my very first Whole30 January 1, 2016.  I need to get the holidays out of my way so there is less chance for error.

I realize this is not a weight loss diet but I very desperately need to lose weight.  

I am hoping this diet gives me the energy I need to exercise more and get into better physical condition.  I have a lot of idiopathic inflammation in my body as evidenced by a very high C-reactive protein reading in my blood work.  I realize inflammation is a precursor to all kinds of illness.  

Is anybody else starting on the first of the year?
