Days 1 to 4 were pretty straightforward. I normally eat 80% paleo plus alcohol and just wanted a clean up as I was getting very stressed at work and sleeping badly. I felt a downward spiral beginning. so i took a few days off work to begin and it's been going well. I'm not planning to post about food, just how I'm feeling. Hopefully I'll return to my ramblings next time i go on a W30 :)

Day 5 today - i slept well although did not want to get up at all. I felt calm all day and left work feeling good but when i got home and found that hubs was out for the evening, i felt like being naughty, namely by having a glass of wine. I will not though. I offered to collect hubs from the station late tonight so i have committed to not having that glass of wine. I was surprised by the strength of the temptation caused by the sudden change of plans. I also had a lunch on the go, instead of taking a packed lunch to eat outside of the office and I'm wondering if this contributed as well. I'm going to make a better effort to take lunch to work next week.

Day 10 today and after a total funk over the weekend, I feel fantastic woohoo!!!

been in a bad mood with a light headache all weekend, no appetite but not fulfilled either.

woke up this morning refreshed and feeling good. oh and my skinny jeans are a little loose.

can't wait for vinyasa class tomorrow morning to see the effects on my yoga practice :)

Day 10 today (must have been day 9 yesterday oops) and I'm planning to start training harder now that i'm over the pants part of this. So advanced vinyasa for 90 mins this morning, lots of walking and some kettlebells later today planned. My HRV was not great his morning (amber) so the plan may change. I've got a 90 min advances vinyasa class planned for tomorrow after work and then bikram 90 mins on day 12 after work. day 13 is biking and ashtanga day, HRV dependant of course.

I thought it was good to put my plan down here so that at least I can hold myself accountable to it!!!

The good news is that the new job my boss created for me (triggered my whole30) is so much less stressful and more creative that I'm less likely to get to the end of the day and not want to go to yoga or get stuck in a late meeting etc.

The aim of this Whole30 was part of a de stressing plan basically, trying to get my sleep back and not talking to myself in my sleep about work all night and then waking up feeling like rubbish everyday, despite eating well.

Wish me luck!
